
We hope you will enjoy your stay in our community! We have provided a 24-Hour Trail from Little Sahara State Park to Downtown Waynoka. We also provided a Legal Daylight Trail to other businesses within the City of Waynoka. Need to travel further? For an annual permit fee of $10, you may ride your ATV on most city streets, excluding the alleyways. Please review the map located below of this page. We do have a few rules we would ask for you to follow:
RULES OF THE ROAD
1. For non-utility customers, ATV permits are $10 each. For utility customers, you can have one complementary pass, but you will need your year, make, model, vin number, and driver's license.
2. Licensed drivers, without interlock restrictions, may operate ATVs upon the city streets providing they are traveling on the 24-Hour Trail or Legal Daylight Trail, which requires no $10 annual ATV permit. ATV annual permits are required for travel on the Map Designated City Streets.
3. ATV speed limit is 10 MPH and is required on all city streets. Vehicles with no speedometer- - - low gear only.
4. Vehicles operating after dark must be equipped with running head lights and brake lights which should be visible from 1,000 feet. On the Map Designated City Streets and the Legal Daylight Trail, street travel is allowed only during the hours of 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
RULES LISTED ARE TO BE ENFORCED AT ALL TIMES!
5. CANNOT OPERATE ATV'S ON ANY STATE HIGHWAYS.
6. ATVs can only cross any state highway when highway speed is 35 MPH or less inside city limits. If any ATVs are to cross the state highway outside of city limits, State of Oklahoma required speed limit is 25 MPH or less.
7. All permits to operate within city limits can be revoked at any time.
Annual ATV permit must be affixed to the left-back fender and displayed
at all times.
8. All replacement permits will be an additional $10 at owners' cost.
